Pippi Longstocking and Kinder Egg Give-Away Hooray!

What started as a whim, nudged on by suggestions from friends to start writing a blog, has now grown to 50 posts. I’ve appreciated all your wonderful comments and feedback and to show my appreciation I’m doing a FREE Give-Away! Yes, for every comment left on my blog from now until March 21st, I’ll enter your name in a drawing. On March 21st, Maggie, with her eyes closed, will pull out one of your names from a hat. (How’s that for scientific?) The winner of this special drawing will receive the award winning “Do you know Pippi Longstockings?” book by Sweden’s most celebrated author Astrid Lindgren, as well as a Pippi doll and some Kinder Eggs just in time (hopefully) for your Easter basket. So drop me a comment. Let me know what you think about any of the posts here… what you think about Sweden…. or let me know any questions you might have. Looking forward to hearing from you.

(And for the the comment to be counted, please comment here at WordPress so I can keep track, rather than Facebook. Thank you for your time, it’s of value to me so I’ll count each comment!)

  1. Yes! This is the post I have been waiting for! I honestly love everything you write and feel so happy to be a part of you journey in Sweden and in life:) I look forward to the next fifty posts. What prize are you going to give then. I will only keep reading if you give an all expense payed trip to Sweden at 200 posts 😉 haha xoxo

    • Thanks so much and if I win the Swedish Lottery (that I don’t play) the all expense paid trip is on!!!

  2. Don’t put my name in! As you know we’re still trying to clear kid-stuff out of our house. I just wanted to say what a fun idea. I’m sure a little girl somewhere will love getting Pippi. I was seriously tempted by the Kinder Eggs, but thanks to a couple local stores with Godiva I can probably suffer through with that. Besides, I’d rather see the real Pippi (Maggie of course).

    • The Kinder Eggs are pretty darn fun. There’s a toy inside each milk chocolate egg. Shhh, don’t tell…my boys still love them.

  3. Lana: Each post brings back fond memories from the time I spent in Sweden on my mission. However, I must admit that you have learned a lot more about Sweden’s history than I did as a missionary. Keep up the good work!

  4. What a cute idea! I love reading your blog. You keep me excited about moving around the world rather than just getting comfortable for too long here in paradise. 🙂

  5. What a great idea! I love your blog and I love Kinder Eggs! I look for them every Easter time (shh my boys love em too…).
